The Lockheed Constellation was perhaps one of the most beautiful airplanes to ever fly. It's disctinctive tri-tailed design could be credited in large part to Howard Hughes and Kelly Johnson at Lockheed. Depicted are two early model L-049's in TWA trim. -- L.G.
