Built in 1940, the beautifully gilded art deco styled Fremont Theatre is located in downtown San Luis Obispo California, and thankfully continues to look very original. In the scene I've depicted, Orson Welles' 1941 masterpiece film "Citizen Kane" is playing, along with a cartoon and newsreel ...of course! (Ps. that's me on the sidewalk) -- L.G.
