This incredible one-of-a-kind car was commissioned by Andre Dubonnet in 1938 to showcase his company's suspension business. The car was built on a Hispano-Suiza H6B chassis, and the streamlined aerodynamic styling was heavily influenced by aircraft design ...which is why I chose to depict it with the beautiful "China Clipper" seaplane floating in the backgound just offshore in the San Francisco Bay. -- L.G.
