Trains were another popular theme for restaurants and diners between the 1920's-40's, and were often created from real train cars. This sleek diner started out in the late 1940's as a diesel train, and ended up on this sidetrack as a greasy spoon highway stop. A 1947 Indian Chief bike and 1948 Hudson Hornet sedan are parked out front. In reality, this particular place never existed ...except as a figment of my imagination! (Ps.
