The beautiful art deco Warner Grand Theatre opened in San Pedro California in 1931. It was recently restored to all of it's original glory, and has been used as a location for the shooting of many period films. On the evening I've depicted, a "Studio Sneak Preview" of Howard Hawks' classic 1938 screwball comedy "Bringing Up Baby", starring Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant is taking place. -- L.G.
